The Office of Mayor William Peduto is currently seeking applicants for board seat(s) on the Historic Review Commission.
The Historic Review Commission protects and maintains historically and architecturally significant buildings and neighborhoods in the City. It plays an important role in the planning and development processes in city government. The HRC is comprised of seven members appointed by the Mayor. The board should include an architect, a preservationist, a realtor, a building inspector, and a planner, as well as citizens interested in historic preservation. Member of the HRC must be residents of the City of Pittsburgh. The HRC meets on the first Wednesday of each month. Commission members serve without compensation.
Currently, we are accepting applications for a chair person, who should be a person with an interest in historic preservation who is a real estate professional.
